Splenic Authority
Intuition speaks only once — listen there
A Human Design authority.
Your authority lives in the defined Spleen Center. It's pure intuition in the present moment — a body whisper saying yes or no. It speaks only once, softly, and doesn't repeat.
You know that sensation of entering a place and 'knowing' something's strange, though you can't explain. Or meeting someone and feeling an instant 'yes' or 'no' without reason. When you followed those hunches, you hit right. When you ignored them, you often regretted. That moment's body intuition is your Splenic Authority.
Fact sheet
What exactly is it?
Splenic Authority operates when you have the Spleen Center defined as your primary authority (without Solar Plexus or Sacral defined). The Spleen is the center of instinctive intuition, energetic immune system, survival sense. Gives you instant information about what's healthy or dangerous, what's correct now, what needs to be avoided.
How does it work in practice?
The big characteristic of this authority is that it speaks only once. Unlike the sacral responding every time you ask, the spleen gives its signal in the moment and doesn't repeat. If distracted, you miss it. The signal comes as a whisper — sometimes a brief mental sound, sometimes a subtle physical sensation, sometimes an almost imperceptible body push. It's not dramatic; it's delicate. That's why it requires extreme presence.
How does it show up in shadow frequency?
And in high frequency?
How do you train it?
First: cultivate presence. Your authority only functions when you're attentive. Reduce mental noise, distractions, constant stimuli. Second: trust the first impression. The splenic signal comes immediate — if you wait and rationalize, you miss it. Third: act from the whisper though you can't explain it. Goes against culture asking for reasons, but your system functions differently.
What does it look like in everyday examples?
- You meet someone at an event. Your body opens or closes instantly. You don't ignore that signal though the head says 'but they're good people.'
- You're about to enter a place. Something subtle tells you 'better not today.' You don't force it.
- They offer you something and before finishing listening, your body already has an answer. You trust.
How to recognise yourself
- You've had strong hunches that proved accurate.
- When you ignored intuitions, you usually regretted.
- Your way of knowing isn't well explained in words.
- You notice subtle things of the environment others don't notice.
- You live better with less noise and more presence.
