What is this sphere?
SQ comes from Mars at birth. It's the most subtle sphere of the Venus Sequence. It's yang in energy (it's an impulse upward) but yin in reception (only activates when you open). It determines your unique way of transcending.
What does it reveal?
It reveals your particular path to the sacred. What practices nourish you spiritually. What environments open you. Also what kind of guide or teacher resonates with you, and which doesn't.
What is the journey from Shadow to Gift?
In Shadow, your SQ is blocked: skepticism, cynicism, or on the contrary rigid dogmatism. In Gift, you find your practice and sustain it. In Siddhi, your whole life is practice — the line between sacred and everyday disappears.
What does it look like in everyday examples?
- Someone with SQ in Gene Key 22 (Dishonour/Grace) finds their practice in music. Every time they sing, something expands.
- A person who rejected all spirituality due to religious trauma discovers their SQ meditating in silence in the forest. Their door was somewhere else.
- An elder who transmits peace just by being present. Their entire life became prayer. Siddhi of SQ.
How do you work with it?
Identify your SQ Gene Key. Ask yourself: when have I felt most connected to something greater than me? What practices take me there? Commit to a practice for 40 days, chosen from the Gift of this Gene Key, not from should.
